About Bailey

Bailey is a sweet but sometimes stubborn 5 year old Australian Cattle Dog x American Coonhound mix rescue. She lived with our family since June 2018. Unfortunately, our Dad (Bailey's owner) passed away unexpectedly in July 2023. We have been staying with her at his residence, but we have to move in November. Given the current circumstances, no family member can take her at this time. She is can be quirky girl, but becomes loyal to those who take care of her. She can be wary of strangers as she feels the need to be a protector. She can be antisocial, but cuddles when she wants to :) She would thrive with a family who is familiar with the breed, has fenced space for her to run, and does not have children or other dogs around. Bailey has pre-paid training for the rest of her life with Bark Busters. Our dad did his best with her and gave her a great 5 years. We are heartbroken for Bailey's situation, but believe she can thrive if she is in the right environment. We hope someone can find the same love we have for our girl.
