Arf! Arf, everyone! I'm Talla, a super-sweet, loyal, confident, courageous, and steady 46-pound black and tan German Shepherd Dog mix gal who was born about September 2021. I get along with everyone -- humans of all ages, including kids -- as well as other dogs. Like a typical GSD, I want to bond with my new family by being right in the center of all their activities. Although German Shepherd Dogs make great house dogs, we need regular daily exercise for our physical and mental well-being. We're renowned for our high intelligence, uncanny faithfulness, and noble character. We can be gentle family pets who easily learn commands. We can also be steadfast guardians who are willing to put our life on the line in defense of loved ones. No wonder we're truly a dog lover's delight and rank at the front of canine royalty. Coincidentally I was found as a stray by a professional dog trainer, who has been fully training me to be the perfect addition to my next family. Obedience training has been a snap since I'm so smart! No telling how long I'd been homeless because I turned up heartworm positive. No worries! I'm undergoing treatment, and Miss Donna is covering the cost. I'm dreaming of playing Frisbee at the dog park or at least a vigorous walk with my new human. Could that be with you? Her adoption fee is $250 (which includes heartworm treatment) for dogs older than 9 months. An application must be filled out prior to adoption.
