About Oakley

3 year old purebred AKC registered Yorkie, named Oakley, purchased from Petland. She is potty trained, spayed, up to date on shots, takes monthly heartworm/flea preventative and had her last vet check up in August. She is regularly groomed at Petco and weighs a tiny 7 lbs. She is the smartest dog I have ever owned, knows my family members names, and dearly loves all of her family. Oakley went through the first level obedience training class at Petsmart. She has never been introduced to cats and lives with another small dog in our house. She does not like bows in her hair but will still let you put them in her hair, and doesn't mind getting dressed in jackets, etc. Oakley loves getting held like a baby and getting belly rubs. Her favorite thing to chew is a turkey tendon, and she knows the word, Turkey. I have taken her to Hobby Lobby, Lowes, Petco, Petsmart, and Bass Pro. She is walked everyday. Despite the amount of socialization I have given her, being introduced to new dogs or people outside of her pack gives her anxiety. For example, sometimes she will pant heavily or pace.
