About Lovie

Lovie is named so because that's what she is! She is the sweetest girl! Lovie is very affectionate and absolutely loves everyone she meets, including children. She is a little over a year old and weighs only about 38lbs. She appears to be a Carolina dog, perhaps mixed with Golden Retriever. We don't know for sure, but she has the appearance and temperament of a sweet, friendly Golden. Lovie is great with all dogs and it would be ideal if she had another dog in the home. She is also wonderful with indoor only kitties. She will chase cats if they are outside. She is a gentle girl so an easy going, but athletic home would be best. She can be calm and lazy when inside the home and when it's time, she's always ready for an outside adventure. Lots of walking and hiking would be great. She would be a good jogging partner, too. Lovie does have an old injury that causes her to snore sometimes. She is fully crate trained and happy to sleep in her crate or on her own dog bed (the back of the couch is also a favorite place). Lovie is fully house trained. She must have a 5ft or higher securely fenced yard.
