He has not been tested with kids. Milo came back to rescue due to illness in family. He is calm and quiet. You don't even know he is in the house. Very intuitive, from day one has been gentle with my smaller dog. No interest in cats unless they are running thru house. We call him a gentle giant..he only weighs 48lbs but he is taller.
