About Caramel

My friend is in hospice and is unable to care for her 2 Yorkies. I am fostering them while trying to find them a new home. They have been raised together and are very bonded, so we'd like to have them go to the same home. Please check listings for both Scruffy and Carmel. I am not positive that they are purebred Yorkies, but when I took them to my vet for checkups, she said she believes they are. Caramel is a solid brown, spayed female, weighs 9 pounds and is 10 years old. Scruffy weighs 8 pounds, is a 6 year old spayed female and is the typical brown, black and gray Yorkie coloring. Both dogs love to cuddle and sit in your lap but will also make themselves comfy in their bed on the couch. They have been raised with a doggie door and are used to going out on their own, but have had to adjust to life without one. They usually go when outside, but will use the pee pad that is put down when they can't get out. They do not get along with cats and would probably do best as the only two dogs in the house, although they have adjusted to being around my 3 dogs. My grandkids, ages 6 and 4 came to visit for a week and the dogs were fine with them. The dogs come with food, beds, leashes, collars, toys, and some clothes that were provided by the owner.
