About Gidget

Gidget (aka Gadget changed name) age 9, 8 pounds, pom chi. best as only dog . No kids, no cats, low energy, Female home........ Gidget is a fluffy charming lapdog who was thrown down the stairs (no injuries) likely by a man so she prefers women to men. She likes to be on your lap and the center of your attention! She will do best as your only dog or perhaps with a submissive small female dog. Gidget does not like the crate, she wants to be part of your household and follow you around; she is fine wandering in the house or on the couch when you are not home. She would like you to be home though, so a kind lady who wants to pamper her, works from home or is retired would be perfect. This pup enjoys walks, is good on a leash, and passes by other dogs without giving them a glance. She is a bolter, though, and needs a secure fenced yard she can't slip through or a vigilant adopter. Her foster writes, 'Gidget is a sweet girl, a snuggler, who just wants to be held and with her person. She lifts her paw to let you know she wants your attention. She is a pleasure to foster.'
