Shelter Hold Ends: September 25, 2023 at 4pm. Breed: English Pointer Appearance: White/liver Gender: Male Estimated Age: 1.5yrs. Estimated Weight: 37lbs Health: Underweight. No other obvious issues. Bio: Hank is a Pointer that comes from a working kennel. These dogs will need help with confidence building and learning how to be pampered pets. They are used to living in a kennel and these young ones don't have much experience yet. The owner recently passed away and his family is trying to find homes for the remaining dogs. Hank was scared and trembling during his evaluation. He may lack confidence but he makes up for it with sweetness. Housetrained: To be determined. Other Dogs: He did well with our tester. He is also currently housed with another male pointer and they do great with no issues. Cats: Non-reactive due to his fear during evaluation. We recommend using caution until he shows that he can be trusted. Children: We do not have kids to test with. We always recommend supervising children around dogs/puppies at all times. Sometimes our dogs/puppies are pretty active and might be too big for really small children and sometimes the children can be too rough around them. Leash: Some experience.
