Available NY,NJ,CT,PA,DC,MD,DE,NH,RI;LI,MA,VT,ME Joplin is only 2 years old, and was returned from his foster back in July. So he's spent all summer in a cage, hoping for his furever home! He is affectionate, loves toys, people, and cuddles! My foster writes:Joplin, or Jop, is the most affectionate doggo you could ask for. He is house trained and friendly with all people. He LOVES people! He would be best in a single dog household with a yard. Joplin loves to run around but also loves to cuddle up on the couch with you. He loves to play with his toys and will bring them to you with a wagging tail and smiling face. Is there anything else you would like us to know about your foster pet? Joplin is a well behaved indoor dog. He has not had any accidents inside and also does not play with anything besides his toys. He is so gentle when playing and always looks so happy to be around a loving person. A staff member writes: Joplin is one of my favorite dogs to spend time with here in the shelter. Joplin is all about the people, greeting me with one of the wiggliest butts I have ever seen. Joplin is practically exploding out of the kennel to come hang out with me. He leans in for pets and scratches, to which I obliged because who can say no to that cute face! Joplin needs to be an only pet in his next home, but don't let that deter you; He's got enough personality you wont be able to think about another pet! He wants to spend all day lounging next to you and playing with his toys! He has got a lot of energy and will need a family that can ensure he gets to burn it off in a healthy manner that keeps him engaged! Joplin would do best as the only animal in the home!
