We can't even fathom the fear and confusion this senior boy must've felt as they closed that door on him; then the heartbreak that set in as minutes became hours and hours became days, and that empty space gradually became void of the familiar smells of his so-called family and the sound of their chatter and laughter. This has got to be one of the coldest, most callous things we have seen here. Needless to say, Spot is not doing well at the shelter. He's frustrated and scared and he's not trying to hide it. He needs a place to recover from the heartache, a safe space where he can unwind from this harrowing loss. Spot needs an experienced hero to open their heart and home and reassure him that everything is going to be just fine and give him the time and comfort needed to understand he's in good hands. This can never happen to Spot again. SPOT@MANHATTAN ACC Spot ID#182594, 8 years old, 68 lbs Large Mixed Breed, White Unaltered Male Came into shelter as a Agency/Stray Medical Behavior Evaluation: 4.
