About Trixie

Meet and greets will be held in Tarzana, CA https://pawsitivetailstoremember.forms-db.com/view.php?id=17980 Trixie is approximately 3 yrs old, she weighs 9 lbs, and she is a Long Haired Chihuahua with a lovely tri-colored coat which will require regular grooming. Trixie was heavily pregnant when she was surrendered to the Riverside Shelter. We rescued her shortly before she gave birth, but sadly, her puppies all died and Trixie was left confused and very sad. Our hearts were shattered along with Trixie. As a rescue, we don't 'need' more puppies but we were prepared to welcome these tiny puppies into this world. We suspect that Trixie was used as a breeder dog because she is so beautiful. Trixie has been given time to heal and she's back to bring a feisty and sassy girl. She tells the bigger dogs what to do and they do it! Lol. If you want a friendly, sweet lap dog, look no further! We feel that Trixie needs an active family or single person who has at least one other small dog for companionship or an owner who is retired or works from home. Trixie would not do well being left alone all day. �'ۢ House trained using a doggie door. �'ۢ Leash trained - walks very well on leash. �'ۢ Trixie is good with other dogs; she is a bit shy in the beginning and she loves to play! �'ۢ Trixie is microchipped, current on vaccines and is spayed! Like most dogs, Trixie would love nothing more than a forever home and a family to call her own.
