About Sunny

This pretty girl is Sunny. She is a 2-year-old terrier mix and weighs just 21 lb. Sunny's foster says 'Sunny is a such a great example of why our family fosters dogs. She is a sensitive, gentle, sweet little lady who probably wouldn't show her true personality in the hustle and bustle of shelter life. She was quiet and shy when we first got her home, but with a quiet spot and a bed of her own, she quickly started to relax and gave us her trust. To watch that transformation makes fostering so rewarding! Sunny is a quiet, happy, playful little love and enjoys time with us, our dogs and her toys. She walks well on a leash and is housetrained. Sunny is a big fan of car rides, hiking with our dogs and does not mind quiet time at home when we go out. There is a little prance when she walks and her tail wag makes her whole body shake! Sunny is smart and looks to please, she does well with positive reinforcement, praise and treats. Sunny would probably do best in a home that is on the calmer side where she can take some time to get familiar and comfortable without too much chaos. When she came to us, we let her set the tone for how much or little she wanted from us, someone has to be patient and give her some time to adjust.' Sunny is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.
