About Lola

Adoption Fee: 100
Australian Shepherd
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

We are looking to re-home our 16lb, 5-year old Miniature Australian Shepherd named Lola. She is really good with my wife and I, but we have two boys that are 4 and 1 years old that she sometimes get nervous around because they get too loud or make sudden movements that tend to scare Lola or make her nervous, and her natural reaction is to 'snap' at them. She hasn't bitten anyone, but we are worried that she might, and we don't want to take that risk with our young boys. Lola would thrive in a home with adults, older children (teenagers or older), and preferably no other pets. She does not get along with cats, but she would most likely warm up to another dog in the home. Lola is a high-energy dog, she LOVES playing fetch and will always bring you a toy for you to throw, whether she is indoors or outside. She is trained to only go to the bathroom outside, we've never had any issues with her going inside the house. Lola does have a sensitive stomach, so dog food that supports healthy digestion/sensitive stomach is what she does really well with. She is healthy, goes to the vet regularly, is up-to-date on all vaccinations, and does have papers from a reputable breeder, which I will provide along with her. She also has a microchip. Lola really is a great dog, and we are heartbroken that we have to re-home her, but we are hoping that she can go to a loving home.
