LOCATION: Monroe, North Carolina DOB: 09-19-2022 Maverick is a Great Dane mix with the most loving eyes and beautiful black shiny coat. This gorgeous guy LOVES playing with other dogs, big or small! Cats are unknown. He is good with children and he loves meeting people! No stranger danger here. Notes from Maverick's foster mom: Maverick is one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met, he is the definition of a Velcro dog. Like a typical Dane, he wants to be as close to his people as possible. So if you want personal space and not to be followed around the house, he probably isn't your guy. You will never be lonely or col. Maverick will be there to cuddle - just in time for sweater weather. Maverick was rescued from the urgent list at a county shelter so he will be forever thankful to his furever fam for saving him. Maverick is very food motivated and listens well. He does great in the car and loves going for a ride. He is housebroken and crate trained for the most part. He is sad to be in the crate but eventually does fall asleep. He loooves getting attention while out on the town. He will do the Dane lean into anyone that will let him!
