Times are a little harder and the first thing people are discarding is their pets, as if they have no feelings. THEY DO. They sadly sit, waiting for their family to come back for them. Most don't come back. Barely 13 months old, this gorgeous gray boy named Cobalt Blue needs a loving, active family now. One that doesn't mind going for walks, hikes or playing Fetch. A staff member writes: Cobalt blue is a sweet boy with a lot of energy. He is athletic and curious boy who loves to play with his people. He loves to play with toys and needs an outlet for his energy so he would do best with a household of active people. He is a goofy boy and you will often find him playing with toys in his kennel on his back. He loves to make a little 'nest' in his kennel with his bedding and almost tucks himself in. He is just a puppy with so much love to give and he greets everyone who walks by his large puppy eyes and a picture perfect pose. A volunteer writes: Cobalt Blue is just stunningly handsome. Even though he could easily rest his laurels on his good looks, he also has an amazingly sweet personality. I can be a little shy with people I don't know, but once I warm up, I become a love bug. I love to give kisses, get belly rubs, and play. I know the cues sit, come, and shake/give paw. I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe. I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.
