About Arlo

Arlo is a healthy energetic 5-year-old Purebred Blue Merle Australian Shepard. Arlo has the characteristics of a herding dog (which he is), being alert to his environment. An owner familiar with herding dog traits is ideal. Arlo likes being outside. A rural home is ideal, or a home with a good size yard and a little separation from neighbors. Arlo will bark at squirrels and people walking on the other side of our wall. A home with small animals is not suitable for Arlo; he will annoy them with his curiosity. Arlo will bark when he is in the house and the doorbell rings. Arlo pulls when walking on a leash and will react aggressively out of fear when he sees another dog he does not know while walking. Arlo is good natured and loving with his family and family friends and he seeks a bond with his people. Arlo is not the right fit for many, but he could be a great addition for the right person or family.
