About Jax

It breaks my heart to write this, but we are looking to rehome our 2 year old Catahoula/Australian Cattle Mix, Jax. We recently got him from a shelter about 2 months ago and he has come leaps and bounds with our other dog and just being a cuddle bug! Still working on getting used to our cat, but we work on it daily. He's very interested in cats, but she has not come out of our laundry room since we got him. He LOVES to run and play and will talk to you why you cook. We do have a fenced in yard that he would stay out in all day if he could. He loves his humans so much! Will just want to touch you and lay on you and of course belly rubs. We travel for work a lot and took him to a camp/kennel and was told he does not like it there (agressive with the other dogs that come near him) so we don't know what else to do. He did get aggressive with other dogs at first (including ours), but now they are buddies. Not sure how is/would be around kids. Did chew a couple shoes up from anxiety when we were gone for an entire day. We love him and just want the absolute best for him and just not sure we can give that. He is 2, rescued, neutered, up to date, not chipped. We unfortunately don't know his past.
