About Dio

Dio was found roaming around a park in south central Los Angeles, abandoned and with no markers of identification. He was taken in late April 2023, approximately 5 months old at the time. He was taken to the vet immediately, where he was dewormed and vaccinated. He is up to date with his vaccines and has no known health issues. He is estimated to turn 1 year old in November 2023. Dio is a very energetic and playful pup! He loves going on daily walks around the neighborhood. He can be shy when meeting new people but can warm up to them quickly. He is playful with children but must be supervised due to his size and energy. He loves meeting new dogs. Playing fetch and tug-o-war are a couple of his favorite pastimes. He requires toys and activities that will keep his attention. A home with additional canine companions would also be a great fit! Unfortunately, we are unable to keep Dio at our residence for much longer. Dio is a great companion for someone who leads an active lifestyle and/or has other dogs. If you are looking for a buddy to accompany you on hikes, walks on the beach, and unwind with you at the end of the day, Dio is the dog for you! We are looking for someone who can also dedicate time to train him, as we have struggled due to our busy schedules. He is a loyal pup who quickly bonds with his owner, does well with treats. Despite his energy levels, he also likes to nap during the day and knows when to chill into low energy mode. Please consider adopting this wonderful dog who deserves a better chance at life.
