About Beau

Hey there! My name is Beau, but my friends call me Beau Bear - probably because I'm big and fluffy like a bear! My coat is white and red and I have beautiful eyes; one green and one blue. I'm a teenager in doggy years, loving, energetic and would love an active family that would take me on adventures. Being a northern breed, I like being outside but especially love to be cool in the water or snow. I know how to sit, lay down, shake, and stay. My leash skills could use some work because I do like to pull, but what northern breed doesn't? Sometimes I jump on people, so will need reminders on appropriate ways to meet people. The good thing is I want to please my people and learn quickly with positive reinforcement. A couple of my favorite things are cuddling with you on the couch, fetch, tug of war with toys and long walks! I have been around other dogs and tend to play rough, slow introductions with other dogs is a must. I will do best in a home as the only dog or with an assertive female dog. Sometimes I can be protective of my toys, treats and food bowl. I ride well in the car, I am house trained and crate trained, but don't like to be left in my crate for long periods of time, I want to be with my people! All in all, I'm an awesome young dog that would love to be your adventure buddy! I am in Montana City, Mt.
