About Madeline

Help us welcome Madeline, a precious 11 years young, 12 lb Shih Tzu. This active and happy go lucky girl loves to follow around her foster Mom and be picked up for cuddles and pets. She is an excellent communicator - LOL - she lets you know when her meals are to be served and when it's time to get up in the morning- she will even tell you when she's in the mood for a walk around the yard - yup she is that smart. Madeline gets along very well with other dogs, we don't know about cats or kids yet but suspect she'd be fine with both. She is crate-trained and sleeps through the night. She has a little arthritis in her paws which sometimes impact her walking on (some) slippery tile floors, so a home with carpeting or area rugs would be ideal.
