About Gunner

Gunner is a very big gentle giant that has no idea how big he is. If you sit on the floor he will lay on top of you as if he is small. He is very heavy and strong. He is so lovable and sweet. He loves to take a run in the grass a few laps and then done. He loves to go on walks and has learned to walk very nicely at times crossing in front of you but no pulling at all. If he sees another dog he does react so recommend having a good grip on him. He is an easy keeper. He stays well for a bath, nails with a battery dremel and loves to be brushed daily. He knows sit, shake ( left and right ) whichever you ask for, lay down and wait. He has worked hard to also wait while putting his food down which needed to be correct. He eats much slower now that he has been fed well. He is in need of packing in more pounds but getting there. He is very gentle taking treats and playing with a toy. Gunner has no issues with chewing or destroying anything and has no accidents inside. He has some hearing issues ( from previous ear infections ) so using hand signals is helpful. He is very tolerant of ear cleanings and meds. This boy is so perfect in every way. Upon approval to adopt, you will be sent SSRR Decompression and Introduction requirements that we require ALL of our adopters to follow . You will be asked to acknowledge receipt of these requirements, verify that you have read them and that you will follow them.
