On top of being stunning, Togo is affectionate and social. He likes being with his people. He also loves tennis balls and belly rubs. Togo was described as social, affectionate, playful, and independent. Towards kids, he was gentle and playful. Togo likes being brushed, but not bathed. He also knows basic commands and likes car rides. But due to his fear and anxiety, ACC wants nothing more than to end his life! At only 13 months old! He is a good boy, who needs a chance! During Togo's last residence, there were two biting incidents, with one resulting in broken skin. Although these bites were labeled as unprovoked, they might have occurred due to over-stimulation. In the care center, Togo appears tense and exhibits lip quivering when his paw is touched. Togo's previous owner mentioned that he is typically friendly and outgoing with strangers and children. Medically, Togo is apparently healthy. Togo was surrendered to the BACC by his owner due to a bite incident that occurred. The owner stated he was talking with the neighbor, and Togo bit out or nowhere without warning on the arm, and it drew blood. Togo is reported to resource guard his food by snapping and growling, be on leash reactive to dogs and strangers, and is uncomfortable with handling his paws. During his assessment, Togo was anxious and was uncomfortable with his paws being touched by lifting his lip slightly when handled. Togo is described as social, affectionate, active, playful, and independent. They love to go on car rides, love belly rubs and their tennis balls.
