Meet Remmie! Remmie is an approx 4 year old cattle dog/retriever mix. She may have some shepherd or retriever in her as she has nice feathering on her back legs, underside and tail. She was originally pulled from a shelter by a foster who found out after the fact that she was pregnant! Fast forward and Remmie raised 6 healthy puppies! She has had a few adoption opportunities since then that have not worked out. She MUST be an ONLY DOG. She gets very attached to her people and doesn't want to share the attention! She needs a fenced yard with room to run and play. She doesn't care for being contained in a run/kennel too long and will try to escape; although in general all she wants to do is be out of it, not go anywhere! It is the confinement that irks her! Remmie is about 75 pounds and fairly tall. She loves to come up behind her people and put her paws on your shoulders to give you a hug! Her foster feels she would be perfect for an outdoorsy person who has dog experience and is looking for a smart and engaging dog to partner with! Remmie is available for local TN adoption only. The adoption donation is $200. FOSTER TO ADOPT IS AN OPTION! *Unless stated otherwise, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, on flea/tick product and heart worm prevention medicine (if older than 5 months) and micro chipped prior to adoption. *Please note that while we do our best to accurately state the breed or breed mix of a dog, we often have very limited information to draw from. Identifying the breed without pedigrees and information on heritage can be very challenging!
