About Queso (CE-TN)

Meet Queso! Queso is a sweet and handsome yellow Lab mix. He is about 1 year old and weighs 60 pounds. He was found as a stray at Taco Bell and was rescued by a good samaritan! From his foster mom: Queso is a very goofy dog that loves being around his people and would love to play all the time. He loves cats but he is cautious with new dogs even though he loves the dogs he currently lives with so I think he would adjust to new ones. He loves to play fetch and he loves to run. He needs someone who doesn't mind having a friend that will follow them everywhere in the house. He can jump pretty high so they will need to have a nicely fenced in backyard for when he has to go outside to potty. There's not much he dislikes honestly. He is a pretty easy going dog, although he thinks he is small enough to be a lap dog!!! He is housebroken unless you don't pay attention that he needs to go outside, kennel trained, walks very well on a leash and likes kids but he does like to jump up so he might do best with older kids. He would make the perfect addition to any family and is truly a one of a kind pup. Queso is neutered HW negative, up to date on shots and micro chipped. He had a Proheart shot for heart worm prevention in March 2023 so will not be due for prevention until March 2024! Queso is currently in TN but will be transported north to New England for adoption. The adoption donation is $400 which includes a health certificate and costs for his transport north.
