Meet Nava! Nava is a Rottweiler who's already spayed, microchipped, house trained, and fully vaccinated. She's had quite an adventurous two years as the goodest girl! About Nava: Nava is an incredibly quick learner, always eager to please, and her time in the New Mexico desert has honed her cuteness survival skills - she's positively adorable! She has an insatiable love for playing with toys, and when her energy levels spike, you'll find her indulging in her favorite backyard zoomies. Squeaky and crinkly toys top her list of favorites. She's also an excellent walker, never tugging on the leash. Around other dogs, she may initially feel anxious, requiring a bit of time to warm up. But once acquainted, she transforms into the most affectionate pup. Even with an older, less playful dog in the house, Nava keeps the love flowing with endless kisses and playful attempts. About Nava's Forever Home: To provide Nava with the best forever home, here are some key considerations: - Patience and prior dog-raising experience are a must. - Existing canine companions willing to welcome Nava into their pack. - A house with a yard or, even better, a spacious farm where she can enjoy her zoomies. Unfortunately, apartments often discriminate against Rottweilers, so that's a no-go. - If you're considering adoption in the future and meet these criteria, don't hesitate to get in touch. Finding the right home for Nava is a priority, and I'm willing to work with the perfect person or family. HERstory: I discovered Nava all alone on the side of the interstate in New Mexico. Her loving demeanor immediately captured my heart. Without a leash or food, I lured her closer with water and ingeniously fashioned a leash from a bed sheet. Surprisingly, she didn't resist when I reached out to her, and I easily carried her into my car. Our first stop was the nearest vet clinic, where we received some good news - she was chipped. Sadly, her previous owner could no longer care for her. It turns out she had run away from home on July 4th, 2022. A year later, on June 27th, 2023, I found her not far from where she had escaped.
