About Daisy

Meet Daisy, she is a 2 year old Pit mix, up to date on shots and scheduled for her spay and potty trained. She has only been with us for 2 days, we received her from the Dog warden. This is what the foster has observed so far. Daisy is a lovable cuddle bug that will claim a spot on the couch as her own the moment she feels right at home. She is very affectionate towards both men and women. But she loves men's attention. She is eager to play with adults and can't get enough treats. Takes treats easily from hands. Nervous eating around everyone currently. But doesn't show signs of food aggression towards people. (Haven't worked on with dogs yet) Does well with chill laid-back dogs. (Not showing any interest in playing with other dogs yet) Can be reactive toward other dogs if felt threatened. Does good on leash. No door manners. Will wander off without a leash. Zero recall. Does well in a covered cage crate. Has shown signs of separation anxiety with damage to cage door. Does really well around very young children of a laid-back nature. Example: I have an 8 month old and 3 year old. They crawl/run around the house all day long with dogs. Sometimes, there's yelling and screaming, but she does very well around it because they show no interest in her. Rather, be on a couch or other side of the room when sweeping with a vacuum, but otherwise is unfazed. Does well with baths and brushing. Still seems like to have a very puppy like mentality. Needs manner lessons. Sits on command, and sits pretty.
