Hiya! My name is Andy and I'm quite a catch. Somehow I got lost from my family and ended up in a shelter. Now I'm safe at Almost Home Dog Rescue NC. My caretakers who 'ooh' and 'ahh' over me all day long think I'm a Lab and either Border Collie or Golden Retriever mix. Who the heck cares when I'm friendly, know my basic commands and look right at you asking what we're going to do next? I'm around 10-months old so am almost fully grown at 40-45 lbs. I'm the perfect medium-sized dog to take on all your adventures. A BFF, that's what I'm looking for. Someone who will play and exercise with me (I'd be a great frisbee dog) and when we're at home, just hang out and chill. I love affection and am told I seem to be housetrained, whatever that means. I really like other dogs and am learning to play gently rather than rough and tumble with the little guys. If I make a mistake, I sure want to please and respond well to verbal corrections. It may sound like I'm a bit full of myself but have to admit I'm pretty darn smart, exceptionally friendly and handsome to boot! I love to get and give affection. What more could you ask for?
