About Jax

Jax is a 2 and a half year old, 25 pound Terrier mix. He has a beautiful coat, he is black, brown brindle and white. Jax was dumped with another dog out by a lake in Missouri. When he was found he was emaciated and scared. A nice lady got them home and held onto them until we could get them into foster homes. Jax is back to a healthy weight and ready to find a home. Jax does great with other dogs and cats. Humans have not been kind to him and he is scared and shy at first. He needs a little time to figure out a new person is going to be nice to him. Jax loves attention. When he wants your attention, he will come to you and put his head in your lap. He also loves toys, especially the ones he can chew on. Jax needs another dog in his home to play with and show him what to do. He loves playing tug with his foster brother. Walking on a leash is new to him so he requires a physically fenced yard so he can safely run and play. Jax loves doing zoomies around his yard and likes to be outside. Jax is kennel trained, house trained, neutered, current on his vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped.
