Stray that was found by my husband (she ran in front of his car on the way to work) She looks 100% pitbull, but will be bringing her to the vet today to get the 'once over'. She is microchipped, and we contacted owner, but owner does not want her and she was 'dumped' in the street!! So sweet, has not growled or snapped at us or our resident golden retriever at all. Her and our golden were wrestling with 'their mouths' but no hard biting and she was very submissive rolling on her back all the time. She is spayed and I cut her nails last night (they were so long!) without any trouble. Not trained to walk, but she is getting used to her name 'Lacy' .. owner said her name was Ice, but that did not suit her! Have already trained her to sit and stay (in just one day) ... is very treat oriented and has a strong prey drive so not sure how she'd do with cats? She is a snuggler and kisser ... slept in bed with my son all night!!! We would love to keep her, but my husband and I work full time and he takes our golden to work with him every day. No way he could take two dogs! We just don't have the room for her either .. our house is rather small. We don't want to turn her over to the humane society or animal control .. she'd be stuck in a kennel for 7-10 days for 'quarantine' and we're not sure what her chances for euthanization are!!! She's so sweet .... We would be willing to drive from Minnesota to just about anywhere to make sure she gets a loving forever home!!!!!
