Meet Buddy!! This handsome hunk was found as a stray in Tennessee. He was brought to the shelter and they scanned him for a microchip. Nope nothing!!! So sad, as nobody came looking, called or anything. This boy is a love!!!! Buddy is such a fun and goofy boy. His name should be Goofy. We understand the name Buddy as well, since he wants to be best buds with everyone he meets. Buddy loves to play ball and will fetch sometimes, not all the time. He sometimes finds more fun to play keep away. Buddy is food driven and know that with his smarts, he will have a blast in training school. He wants to please his humans, so learning commands should be easy for him. Buddy loves to romp with his friends as well in the playground. He is just a happy boy with a awesome personality. Spay/Neuter All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease. VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward. HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
