About Indie

Indie is a loving and sweet female dog of 5 years. She is able to play with most dogs and can go to doggy daycare as well as can be boarded with other dogs. Indie needs a home with a yard and space to exercise. She may do well with another dog in the home but the personalities have to align. She is most successful in making new dog friends when they are male. Indie has been exposed to children and babies and is patient and has never been aggressive toward them. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Indie now lives in an apartment. It's very stressful for her as she is reactive with her owner on leash toward other dogs and there are many dogs in the apartment complex. Her reactivity seems to be most heightened when her owner is walking her on leash. When she is walked by males however, with her owner not present, her protective/reactive nature seems to subside. Indie is trained and listens well to commands. She needs consistent exercise and a loving home with space for her to run off leash ideally.
