Meet Zola. At 28 pounds, this pint sized lab mix is a one year old and came up from Mexico. She loves meeting new people, and kids. She has done well with dogs of all sizes. As most adolescents can be, she can get herself fired up in play, so if there's another dog in the home, she will need patience while she continues to learn the ropes. In her foster home, she lived with a variety of dogs, she has gone for a lost of walks, hikes, runs and off leash adventures, and she has done well on all of them. She is a great outdoor companion! She is crate trained and mostly potty trained if you are structured with her bathroom breks. Zola will need someone with the ability to allow the first month or so with them to be quieter and more consistent. she has a quirk that causes her to spin in circles when she is stressed, excited, or just overstimulated. Some days it is more than others, but she but she is currently on meds in an attempt to help. Keeping the stress and excitement level down have seemed to be the most effective in managing the behavior. She has had a neurological work up and has no issues.
