Sweet submissive little Donnie was witnessed to be thrown out of a car at a gas station in Hesperia Ca. He toppled out of the car, with fresh cuts on his legs and the monster behind the wheel let his dogs loose to go after poor Donnie. A good Samaritan witnessed this and ran over and was able to chase the man off with his dogs and picked up Donnie and took him to the Hesperia Animal Shelter. Donnie had been pepper sprayed, and set up to be mauled. At the shelter he was affectionate, submissive, friendly and loving. He healed from all of his injuries, but due to space was put on the kill list. The rescue coordinator called me personally and asked if I could save their sweetest dog. I picked him up and immediately put him in a foster home with the family with a young children who's energy would help Donnie heal his heart. There are several fighting rings in the desert where he came from and I think he was too nice to make someone sadistic money. He is amazing with the children, loves toys, is house broken, walks perfectly on leash and is the perfect dog. I'm grateful to have saved him to help give him the chance of love again with a loving adopter. He is not subdued or head shy so his abuse doesnt apprear ti have been an extended period of time. If you have a lot if love to give and are looking for a companion who behaves perfectly consider making Donnie your best friend.
