About Clara

Clara was adopted through Circle 2 Rescue as a puppy. Clara absolutely LOVES people. She loves receiving attention and meeting new people, which gives her the biggest smiles. Clara is the happiest and most loyal dog that loves to cuddle and be by your side. Unfortunately, she has become extremely aggressive towards other dogs in the past few months. Her aggression has gotten worse since she recently got a puppy sister and Clara is overly protective and possessive over her. Due to a recent altercation, with Clara being the aggressor, animal control was involved. Clara recently had a vet visit that concluded she has no health issues that are causing her aggression. Clara has never shown aggression towards people of any age. Clara will require special precautions, including being the only animal in the household, a secure fenced yard that she cannot jump and will not encounter other dogs, even on walks. She needs someone who is understanding and believes in second chances. Sadly, Clara is desperate for a new home as her current living situation is no longer an option. This is a tremendously difficult decision that has not been made easily. Clara truly is a wonderful, loving, funny, happy girl and she's had a great life with us for the last 6 years. This is Clara's only chance to avoid being euthanized.
