About Harley

Harley is a young and energetic Aussie mix. She is sweet with people but only after getting to know them. She is likely to bond strongly with one person, and can be jealous with other dogs. We are not able to keep her because of incompatibility with our existing dogs. We believe Harley can be in a multi-dog household as long as she has strict boundaries set at first and strong human leadership. She is very intelligent and trainable. She has learned many basic commands and we are working to improve her compliance as much as possible in preparation for a new home. She is responding well to crate training, though we crate her at night and while home but not while gone since our work day is too long. She tolerates our cat, though he is very quiet and sedentary. A more active cat might be chased by her.
