About Fuji

We have been seeing all the post of kids heading back to school we thought we would share a Fuji update! For anyone following along Fuji came to us from ACCT back in February as 3-4 month puppy and has not had any interest. ���� We decided the best thing we could do for him is send him to school to make sure he is the best pup he could be. ��s� Fuji started his board and train in July with our friends at Lead Your K9. In the last few months Fuji has grown not only physically, but he has matured so much. He has learned his basic commands, leash skills, calmness, dog socialization and so much more. It is amazing to see the awesome pup we have always known him to be! Fuji is now 10-11 months old and is looking for his forever family. He is looking for a family who is willing to continue working on his training and will provide structure in the home. He has a great foundation and we want to see that continue to grow with him. Fuji has worked really hard at training and has loved every minute of learning. He has not only learned the fundamentals, he has also been able to participate in fun activities such as scent work. He is highly motivated to please, but also very treat motivated. He hasn't met a treat he did not like. While away at school Fuji took added classes for crate training and housebreaking. He had struggled with both of these in the past and he wanted to make sure he was ready for his forever family. He is currently doing well in both areas, but he does need to be on a consistent schedule to maintain this. His trainers will be happy to go over his routine with his family before going home. He is an active pup. He is going to need daily exercise. He really loves adventure. He would be a great hiking or running partner. He is dog social with the right group of pups. He can get over excited and some dogs don't appreciate his play. He has been working hard on this and he really enjoys his time playing with other dogs. He would also be great as a one and only as well. Fuji seems to love everyone that he meets, but would probably do best in a home without super young children. He is high energy and would could knock a small child down unintentionally. He can also get overstimulated and be a little mouthy. He is continuing to work on that as well. We think a home with kids 8 and older would be best. Just to be on the safe side. Since Fuji participated in the board and train we decided it would be best for him to stay with his trainers to continue to build on his training while he waits for his forever home. Any meets will be done at their facility in Orwigsburg, PA. There will also be a transition session included with the adoption as well. Fuji's adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccinations to date and microchipping. He is also up to date on preventatives. Interested?
