Meet Boots! Male, About 6 years old 35lbs of FUN! Fully Vetted Neutered HW Negative! Boots was in a home with an elderly family who loved him but simply could not keep up with him or care for him the way he deserves. He hasn't had much exercise or mental stimulation and would love a family that would like to play with him, take him for walks, and help him brush up on his training. Because they couldn't offer him the exercise and excitement he needs, he is desperate for human interaction. He is SO HAPPY when given attention that he sometimes jumps up because he is so happy to be with you!. Once he is given the opportunity to have fun playing and exercising, he will likely settle down quickly. He was neutered on Thursday 8/3 by a wonderful vet office that contacted Safe Haven to help him find a home. He is fully vetted and ready to start enjoying life. He's a great size, about 35lbs., maybe part Pug or Beagle or possibly several other breeds. Whatever he is, he is ADORABLE, LOVES all humans and seems to get along with other dogs. He has not been with cats, so we don't know how he is with them. Boots is a great little guy with a big personality who deserves a family as fun as he is! If that's you, please send in your application. Boots is also available for our foster to adopt program. If you would like to foster him with the intention of adopting, please send an application and we will reach out to you.
