About Bats

Bats is an incredibly sweet, cuddly, curious goofball who loves her humans and outdoor adventures. She does well on runs and bike rides, loves balls and fetch, and would likely do well on agility courses. She needs a home and a spacious yard where she can be the only pet to be loved and doted on by adults, preferably ones familiar with her breed and willing to invest in training. She does react towards other dogs, and has a prey-drive towards cats, hence needing a home apart from other animals. She is very sweet towards people, but absolutely ADORES her special humans and just wants to be near and/or cuddle most of the time. She is definitely a velcro dog who suffers from separation anxiety, although anxiety medication (which she is currently on) and consistent training, love, and patience have helped this. Bats is a fantastic dog that I wish I did not have to rehome. Unfortunately she does not get along with my partner's dog/cats and keeping them separate is unfair and stressful on all of the animals. We are working with a trainer on desensitization and socializing, but have come to the very difficult conclusion that she may be happier in a different living situation.Please call or message me if you are interested in learning more about Bats, I am happy to answer any questions honestly, as she deserves to find her forever home.
