[Read About Natural Seizure Care] PLEASE READ BIO. !!SPECIAL NEEDS DOG!! SUFFERS FROM SEIZURES MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH SEIZURES IN DOGS. Meet Simba, a beautiful black brindle French Bulldog with a lot of energy. He is approximately 24 lbs and 20 months old. He loves people and wants to be with someone all the time. Simba would do best with someone that works from home and is active. Simba is reactive towards dogs. He tends to be a bully towards smaller dogs. Simba is crate trained, fully potty trained. He has undergone some training with a professional trainer, Paul from VIpawsitive. Simba knows the following commands: 'sit', 'down', 'place', 'leave it', 'drop it', and 'off'. Simba loves to play with toys, he is a power chewer so you must be present or he will destroy the toy and attempt to eat it. He does have a tendency to ingest little items like sicks, underwear, etc. so must be in a puppy proof room. He likes other dogs but plays very rough so either a home with no dogs or a home with a dog of similar play style is needed. Simba has been working with his trainer on walking properly on the leash and re-directs really well when sees other dogs. Simba is not ready for the dog park and will need to continue his training. The new owner will need to be committed and be willing to continue some sessions with the trainer in his new environment. Children: We recommend no kids under 13 yrs old, due to his high energy. He does have a medical condition and must be on Keppra for life. While with me. He was seizure free for the past 3 months I have had him. If you stop giving the medication, he will blow up. Must be on Keppra and 2 other seizure meds for life 1 pill 3 times a day (every 8 hours) and must be on a strict schedule to keep him seizure free. Simba needs to see the vet every 6 months to monitor the seizures and keep him seizure free. Requirements for the perfect home: Experienced with the French Bulldog and seizures in dogs. Secured high fenced yard, an active family, someone home often or semi retired. No cats or small children. He's not aggressive but extremely high energy and can easily knock over a small child.
