Roux(brown in picture)was dumped off exit 35 off I59 in a remote area in July with another young female. My neighbor picked them up with the intention to rehome them but gave up and they ended up in the woods behind my house covered in fleas and ticks, scared and hungry. Roux and her friend have settled in and learning the ranch life. She is good with other dogs, horses, goats and chickens. Not food aggressive. Learning to coexist with cats, but I do not trust her. She stays close when outside. Very sweet and eager to please. A fenced yard would be a plus as she has the tendency to chase cars, but we are working on that. Roux has been spayed and vaccinated, treated for fleas and ticks, but is heartworm POSITIVE. She is undergoing treatment at Southern Pines in Hattiesburg. Will help facilitate the continuation of treatment. Would love for them to go together, but will separate.
