About Baxter

Baxter Found himself in the shelter, scared & shaking. Baxter is a 3 year old Dachshund mix who weighs 17 lbs. He is easy to potty train, just have to learn his signals. He will willingly go in the crate with a treat when you need to leave the house. He's a typical Dachshund 'nose to the ground' type and loves to explore his surroundings. He sleeps in the bed with his foster mom and likes to take naps by her side. He also loves to play with his Kong tennis ball in the house. He is a great car rider and actually jumps right up into the foster mom's SUV! He would do best with a fenced in yard and someone with Dachshund or Hound experience.
