About Lola

I took Lola from my neighbor's son, Lola's breeder. She was returned to him (the guy told him he couldn't get Lola certified as an ESA). He was unable to keep her. I agreed to take her and foster her (wanted to get her under a rescue). While Lola is not an aggressive dog, she bit another dog in the dog park where I live (there was an unleashed reactive dog outside the park). Due to this, management said I needed to have her or by 9/14. Lola is sweet dog, loves people. Loves to cuddle and be a lap dog. She was neglected when she returned to the breeder. Urine stained fur and urine soaked nails, they were also very long and splitting. She's very sensitive about her paws. The vet said she had been through several pregnancies. She very particular about dogs. She gets along great with my boy Austin, she is a resource guard for toys and affection. She's been ok with males her size or bigger. She isn't so good with other female dogs. Because of the bite incident and her breed, I really don't want to surrender her to the humane society.
