About Chai

Chai is the world's best cuddler. Her favorite place will always be however she can get closest to you. She is the perfect dog for someone who spends a lot of time at home. She loves all people, including kids. She doesn't play well with other dogs and cats, and should be the only pet in the house. I am looking to rehome her after 2.5 years together due to some life changes and a housing relocation that make it hard for me to accommodate the quality of life that she needs and deserves. Pros: - Incredible cuddler - Loves all people, including kids - Will let you sleep in to any hour of the day without requesting to go out - No chewing issues - Zero resource/food/toy guarding - Is fine with baths - Potty trained, with the occasional accident when experiencing separation anxiety or getting too excited around new people - Doesn't really need exercise to be calm, but has the stamina to keep up on hikes - Emotionally intuitive and will comfort you when you are sad Considerations: - Not good with other dogs or cats - Separation anxiety (I have needed to crate her and give her anxiety medication when leaving her alone, otherwise she will bark and get herself worked up) - Needs to live in quiet environment (ie without other dogs on the other side of a fence or wall, noisy hallways and neighbors, etc)
