Have an 8 month old male red tri-color needing a new permanent home. Ideal place would be one or two adults at home most of the time that can work with a dog that needs some positive and consistent reinforcement. A country setting with fenced acreage/room to run is a must. He is sweet and lovable and wants to follow his 'people' around/be with them. He is a high energy dog that needs a job and is still in a puppy phase so very smart and trainable. Knows a few commands like sit, shake, lay down, roll-over, and could learn many more. His owner allowed some fear-aggression issues to start when her circumstances changed and he was separated from his litter-mate/brother that he was raised with and moved to a house that backs up onto a walking trail about two months ago%BD'%BD| as the fear-aggression of strangers and their dogs walking by escalated from barking she gave him up%BD'%BD| so he does bark and growl/gnash his teeth at strangers%BD'%BD| but once he knows people that fear aggression he has developed goes away quickly and he is a very sweet pup! We have had him for a week and have brought several friends/strangers and their dogs over to meet him and he is improving even in a short amount of time. He is great in the car, housebroken, fully vaccinated, chipped, loves to play with the ball outside, and seems to be fine with cats (we have three cats and he is curious but not aggressive with them) and is good with our dogs and our friend's dogs. No free-range chickens (he chases them!) No idea how he is with little kids but would want a home without any. Call with questions%BD'%BD| or text to arrange to meet him%BD'%BD|I can also text videos of him
