About Darla

Lil Miss Darla is living up to her Lil Rascals namesake. As you see, she is in a cast. She is fostered with a LOT of other dogs and cats. She likes ALL the dogs except one, and that was a game time decision on her part. She picked a fight with one of the resident Great Danes who also happens to have a few screws loose. Needless to say, the Dane got her face chewed up, but Darla ended up finding out with a broken arm. She will heal up just fine, if we can keep her IN the cast. (insert eye roll) Darla doesn't apparently possess pain receptors. As soon as she got home from the hospital, she was running across the yard after a bird, hurdling planters, trying to dig through concrete to go play with the other kids. sigh. Not much slows this little fireball down. Darla is a million percent love! She adores human affection and attention. While waiting to see the doctors for her broken leg, she emotionally supported many pet parents in the waiting room with lots of kisses and love.
