About Luna

Luna is a purebred Alaskan Malamute. She is a very lazy and talkative dog. She loves to nap most of the day with random spurts of energy here and there. She loves to let you know exactly what is on her mind. She will howl and talk your ear off. She is an incredibly affectionate dog who enjoys being around people and having them give her all the love. She does have a tendency to resource guard, which we have been working on with her and is slowly getting better. She just needs a strong hand to keep her in check otherwise she will try and take a dominant position in the household. She loves to go for walks and walks very well on a leash. She will pull only a tiny bit, but will quickly learn your pace once you get started. She is very iffy about other dogs and cats. She has a tendency to have a prey reaction to cats, but has slowly grown out of this reaction since she is constantly around cats now. She is back and forth about other dogs. She would prefer to be in a household by herself or with another dog that just wants to lay around and nap all day.
