Teddy is very affectionate and playful. We love him very very much, but he does not get along with small children and we cannot keep him because of this. Otherwise, Teddy Bear can be found chilling belly up in wait of belly rubs, sitting protectively on your feet whenever you sit down, or doing laps of zoomies through the back yard. He has a charming personality and is well trained to 'heel', 'sit', 'stay', 'come', 'stop-down', and 'go lay down'. An ideal home for our fluffy buddy is with someone who is fairly active and independent in search of a companion. It would be best for him to be on a property where he can roam and protect or with someone that likes to go on hikes/runs. With my dad and I he is very obedient and only barks when strangers come to the door. I'm reluctant to post this ad because Teddy is my best bud, the fee is optional, however we will be screening for a responsible owner to take him. I may also consider a tentative 'foster' option: Teddy belongs to my dad who can no longer keep him, and I would love to take the Teddy Bear once I can move into a place that allows an Akita, but he needs urgent re-homing. Please contact me with any questions. I am happy to give more details over call/text anytime of day.
