About Millie

Are you looking for a pocket pup who loves naps as much as she loves walks? Millie is 9# wet, approx 1 y/o, and dog/cat/kid friendly. We think she's a Chihuahua mixed with some Dachshund. We recently discovered that Millie suffers major hearing loss and is likely almost nearly deaf. It doesn't seem to impact her sweet demeanor; she just sleeps very soundly. Her foster is working on hand signals which she has been picking up quickly since she's a very smart girl. She loves napping, walks/hikes, and snuggles. She's been crate training and goes potty outside/on leash but also knows how to use a doggie door. She sleeps in her crate overnight (after a little protest). She's a sweet little nugget and pretty low maintenance. She enjoys her chewy toys and will gladly stay busy with them. She's very friendly with other dogs and would love a playful canine fur sibling in her new home. She is unbothered by cats. Millie would do great in a home where her pawrents spend some of the work day at home - she loves being near her people. Due to her size and penchant to go after bunnies, a very secure yard is a must! In the evening she is very happy to unwind on the couch with you.
