About Fluffy

Meet adoptable Fluffy! Fluffy has had a difficult life to say the very least. In August of this year, a call was made to animal control requesting a wellness check on Fluffy and a few other dogs that lived at her previous address. Her and her friend Scooby were found with improper shelters, no food and no water with a heat index of over 100 degrees. Fluffy was on a chain that had been wrapped around a large tree several times causing her to be unable to move more than a few steps. The shelter was able to seize her and Scooby from this environment, and we are now hoping to find both of them the home they deserve after all this time. Fluffy has lived on a chain her entire life, and so far is LOVINGGG being in an open play yard where she can run, play and express herself without fear of becoming tangled. It saddens us to see that she had such a poor quality of life prior to coming here that she actually enjoys being at the shelter. Our hope is to make her even happier by giving her a loving family that will love this gorgeous girl. We would love for her to have a big fenced in yard or someone that is willing to take her on long walks so she can explore new smells and have fun experiences. While she is playful, she is also pretty polite and her energy level is probably about medium. Some physical activity daily would be great for her, but she will not bounce off the walls if she can't go on a puppy adventure every single day. She is good with other dogs, so we think she would do well as a play mate for your existing furry friend. Fluffy is 45 pounds and about two years old. She has been vaccinated, treated for internal/external parasites and has tested positive for heartworm disease which will need to be treated at some point.
