Meet Martin aka Marty! Meet Marty! 'He's been learning to fetch and to come when called, and he's picking it up really fast! He is also great in his crate if his bed is in there, and has learned to sleep through the night in one if the room is dark. He has a normal level of crying and barking for a puppy, but he's super sweet and quiets down when he's asked to. It was a journey but he seems to be officially potty trained if he is on a consistent schedule, and will only have an accident if he hasn't gone recently and gets really excited. So far he's been exclusively eating the dog food provided, and Trader Joe's beef sticks, and hasn't had any troubles with those. He's super friendly with people and other dogs, and likes a lot of attention. Big cuddler!' Weighs in at around 44 lbs at approximately 6-7 months and is fully vetted! He's a good 'ol American shelter pup....RESCUED, the best kind! ��%90������%8F��%90������%8F��%90������%8F��%90������%8F��%90������%8F��%90������%8F��%90������%8F��%90������%8F��%90������%8F��%90������%8F��%90������%8F��%90������%8F��%90������%8F��%90������%8F��%90������%8F��%90� 'Hi, my name is Marty! I had a tough start in life because my humans didn't make sure that I was contained in a fenced area and I ran around looking for adventures and was found by a nice rescue woman in Amarillo, Texas! Boy am I lucky that she came along because who knows what would might have happened to me! I drew the lucky lottery ticket and got on a transport To Portland Oregon.... I am a handsome German Shepherd blend, am around 7-8 months old. I have an amazing long shepherd tail and the cutest done with big black spots! I will be great in a home with other dogs but I need a no cat's home as I will chase cats who run. I am working on not being so excited to see you by jumping up on you and I am very treat motivated and love to learn! I weigh around 44 lbs. I would do best with an active outdoor family with kids 10 to 12 on up , an active, outdoorsy couple or adopter who loves living the PNW outdoor life.
